Two cars

I'm not "into" cars -- but occasionally I encounter one that appeals to me.

This one seemed a little "steampunk":

I also liked this personalized plate:  "Feisty one".

I'm a big respecter of privacy -- but given that these license plates are on public display all the time, I'm pretty comfortable with posting these pics on my blog.

Fabled element

If I ever got into steampunk, I'd build a contraption that utilized a mysterious sort of power source.

And I'd tell people that it was powered by the element "meconium".  Which I only learned the name of today (although I'd heard it before -- but I never remember it).

Steampunk motorhome

Found  this -- as often happens -- while doing a web search for something else.

(Photos are from the article here.)

It's called the Neverwas Haul, and is "a self-propelled 3-story Victorian House", according to its website.

Here's a music video that takes place in and around the Neverwas Haul -- so it serves as a bit of a tour.  The song is a good song, too:  "The Land of Lost Things", written and performed by Renee de la Prade.

The Neverwas Haul was built by members of the steampunk club Obtainium Works, in Vallejo, California.

I'm not into travel -- but for **this**, I would travel.  According to the website, they rent it out:  I just want to walk around in it...

The one I would buy

Thus far, I've never spent more than $300 (I'm pretty sure) on a guitar.

However -- if I **was** to spend $2,000-$3,000 on a guitar, instead of one like this...

...I'd rather get one like this...

...!!!

Built by this guy.  Yes, they're for sale -- he has a whole range of them.
