Killing the environment with my digital camera
Apparently, my digital camera doesn't like my rechargeable ''AA''-size batteries -- not enough oomph. So, I have to use the super-duper, ''suitable for digital cameras'' (disposable) batteries.
That's a shame.

Even the new rechargeables? I use Energizers (2500 mAh) and my Canon doesn't like anything else! It's the opposite of yours.
Hm! I'll have to dig thru my collection of rechargables, to see which ones have the highest mAh rating, and try those.
But, yeah -- I **think** I tried the newer ones, and no dice. Could be I simply have an inefficient camera.

How are the rechargeables doing? Consumer Reports just did a review on rechargeable batteries, and highly recommends them for digi cameras. (Seems like a new recommendation, and that it used to be they didn't have enough oopmh.)
Haven't re-tried the rechargeables - still using the non-rechargeables that I had to buy.
