Museums are like icebergs
The family was at the local museum a few weeks ago. On their top floor, they had a sign that said, "A museums is like an iceberg. Most of it is hidden from view." It then went on to explain that a very small percentage of their collection is ever on display: most of it is in storage.
However, when I read the line "A museum is like an iceberg," I immediately thought:
"A museum is like an iceberg: when you run into it, your ship sinks, and you die."

It's freezing cold and pieces keep calving off.
