Aussie word for peanut butter
Just got back from making my daily sandwiches. Was reminded via a co-worker's comments that Aussies don't call it ''peanut butter'': it's ''peanut paste.''
Sounds like what you use to repair your broken peanuts.

It makes more sense than butter I reckon, but it doesn't sound very appetizing.
Aussies say ''reckon'', too -- as in ''I reckon it's the caurborator.'' Maybe they're secretly from Texas (or all cowboys!).

The term "peanut butter" is used in the southern states of Australia but not in Queensland because the dairy farmers objected to the suggestion that there was milk in it (blech....)
