It's been a fairly dry summer.This is a snapshot of the portion of our front lawn to where our septic tank drains. You can tell where the drainage pipes are.

That is REALLY cool! And it sure beats paying a surveyor and/or septic installer to locate the lines for you. I would keep this photo for future reference -- it might come in handy in case the community record's office has a fire which destroys all its records, then insists you PROVE where the lines are before you build. (It happened here years ago.)

Actually, this happens more or less anuually. And I don't think we'd be building anything in the front yard...
