Little kid riddle
I'm finding that little kids are a little... literal... when it comes to humor.
My daughter's riddle, as told this morning in the car on the way to school:
Q: ''Why did the horse, the cow, the pig… and the sheep… cross the road?"
A: "Betuz two wanted to go home, and two wanted to go shopping.''

Later that day, she followed up with the information that the pig and the sheep were the ones going shopping, and the horse and the cow were the ones going home. :)
Also that the cow was the mommy, and the horse was the daddy - and the pig was the mommy and the sheep was the daddy.
(I had to ask her, just now, for which was which. She further clarified that the mommy pig lives the daddy horse, and the mommy cow lives with the daddy sheep. **Very** specific in her mind.)
