Grumpy about snow

Highly-rated zombie board game

Based solely on my say-so (as near as I can tell), my brother mail-ordered (or rather, online-ordered) a zombie-based strategy board game called "Last Night On Earth". I read four or five reviews of it online: all were highly supportive, giving it four out of four (and five out of four!) stars.

Here's hoping it shows up at least a few days before the New Year, so we can try it out together...

Ani DiFranco comment on religion

Here's a quote from Ani DiFranco (famous folk-ish singer) on religion. It pretty much coincides with what I think. Except for the part about being atheist.


"Well, I'm not a religious person myself. I'm an atheist. I think religion serves a lot of different purposes in people's lives, and I can recognize the value of that, you know, the value of ceremony, the value of community, or even just having a forum to get together and talk about ideas, about morals — that's a cool concept. But then, of course, institutional religions are so problematic."
